HSE Manager

The HSE Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of the organization. They are responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental programs, policies, and procedures. The HSE Manager works closely with management, employees, and regulatory agencies to promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental programs, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards in the workplace.
• Develop and deliver training programs on safety procedures, emergency response, and environmental practices.
• Monitor and analyze health, safety, and environmental performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Implement initiatives to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship throughout the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
• Proven 15 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial setting.
• Ashghal/PWA Experience

Certifications required:

1)NVQ Level 6/ NEBOSH Diploma

2)NEBOSH IGC/NGC

3) ISO 45001:2018

4) ISO 14001:2015

5) IOSH Managing Safely/ IOSH Working Safety (Preferable)

6) OSHA 30 Hours

Skills:

• Strong analytical skills and ability to conduct risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance.
