We're looking for a skilled and service-oriented **Information Technology Specialist** to support and maintain our organization's IT systems, ensuring smooth daily operations and a high level of technical support to all departments. With versatile meeting spaces, an elegant wedding venue for up to 200 guests, and proximity to key business and shopping districts, Doha Central Plaza Hotel is the perfect welcoming escape for leisure and business travellers alike. **A little taste of your day-to-day** Every day is different, but you'll mostly be: + Provide الأول-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues + Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, POS systems, and other IT equipment + Monitor and maintain network performance and security systems + Troubleshoot system errors and implement timely solutions + Support hotel systems such as PMS, POS, and office applications + Ensure data backup, antivirus, and system updates are properly maintained + Maintain IT inventory and documentation + Assist in IT projects and system upgrades as required + Train staff on basic IT usage and cybersecurity awareness + Coordinate with vendors and service providers when needed **What we need from you** + Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Computer Science or IT or related field + 4 years' related experience or with computer set-up and troubleshooting + Working knowledge of networks and operating systems and databases + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Knowledge in PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) + Great communication skills + A team player, proactive, responsible, hardworking and able to work under pressure Don't quite meet every single requirement, but still believe you'd be a great fit for the job?
