+ Ensure adherence to Ashghal's standards and قطر's environmental regulations. Conduct regular site audits and inspections to monitor compliance. + Implement and maintain an effective EMS, achieving environmental best practices and compliance with all contractual and legal requirements. + Liaise with government authorities, compile permit applications, and manage renewals as required. + Develop and manage strategies to achieve sustainability targets, including monitoring environmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensuring alignment with sustainability rating schemes like CEEQUAL. + Gather, consolidate, and analyze environmental data. Prepare monthly environmental reports for submission to the client and relevant authorities. + Attend and contribute to weekly HSE and monthly progress meetings with the Supervisory Consultant (SC), Project Management Consultant (PMC), and Ashghal. Apply today. + Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. + 14 years in environmental management roles, preferably within infrastructure or large-scale construction projects in the Middle East. + In-depth understanding of قطر's environmental laws and regulations. + Relevant certifications in environmental management or sustainability (e.g., ISO 14001, CEEQUAL) are advantageous. + Proficiency in environmental data analysis tools and reporting software. + Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
