**Description:** **Duties and responsibilities related to the Technician role:** + Perform routine **Preventive Maintenance (PPM)** on guest rooms and public areas, including checking HVAC filters, lighting, and plumbing fixtures. + Respond immediately to **guest complaints** regarding room maintenance (e.g., AC not cooling, clogged drains, faulty lights) to ensure guest comfort. + Carry out general repairs across multiple trades, including basic electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, and painting/polishing. + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, such as fan coil units, pumps, and kitchen appliances. + Conduct daily rounds to inspect plant rooms, read utility meters, and monitor critical systems like boilers and chillers. + Maintain accurate records of all work performed, spare parts used, and time spent on tasks using the hotel's work order system. + Ensure all work is performed in strict adherence to **Health & Safety** regulations and hotel safety policies (e.g., Lockout-Tagout). + Assist other engineering teams (specialists) during major repairs or projects as needed. **Qualifications:** + Qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management desirable + Minimum 2 years work experience as Technician/Tradesman in a hotel or 4 years in a similar large building/complex with central plant **Primary الموقع:** QA-Doha-Doha **Organization:** Andaz Doha **Job Level:** Full-time **Job:** Engineering/Facility Maintenance **Req ID:** DOH003037 Hyatt is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
