Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Coordinator to join our growing delivery company. This individual will play a vital role in the smooth daily operations of our logistics and delivery team. You will be working closely with our delivery drivers, management team, and payroll department to ensure that deliveries are made on time, communication remains clear, and operational tasks are executed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily delivery routes by assisting in the scheduling, dispatch, and communication with delivery drivers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for drivers regarding updates, delays, or route changes.
- Track and monitor deliveries to ensure timelines and customer expectations are met.
- Assist with payroll management by collecting timesheets, verifying driver hours, and ensuring timely submissions to the payroll department.
- Maintain up-to-date records of driver information, route data, and delivery documentation.
- Provide administrative support to the logistics and operations team as needed.
- Help resolve delivery or operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Contribute to improving processes and workflows for more efficient delivery operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a coordination or administrative role, preferably in logistics or delivery services.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets, scheduling tools, and communication apps.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR2,300.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
