Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Mechanic specialized in heavy and hydraulic equipment to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repair tasks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with construction equipment, trucks, and hydraulically operated machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, bulldozers, cranes, etc.).
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on all heavy vehicles and equipment.
• Repair or replace hydraulic cylinders, hoses, pumps, valves, seals, and other related components.
• Conduct engine overhauls, transmission repairs, brake system checks, and other mechanical repairs.
• Use diagnostic tools and technical manuals to identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Maintain accurate service records and update maintenance logs.
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental guidelines during all repair and maintenance activities.
• Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks and ensure equipment is available when needed.
• Keep tools and work area clean and organized and report any unsafe practices or conditions.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Certification in Automotive Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in repairing and maintaining heavy equipment and hydraulic systems.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and hydraulic schematics.
• Familiar with using diagnostic software and tools.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy parts and working in challenging environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of basic welding and fabrication is a plus.
