Carpentry Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Carpentry Supervisor specializing in kitchen and wardrobe installations to lead our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the fabrication, assembly, and installation of custom kitchens, wardrobes, and cabinetry while ensuring high-quality workmanship, adherence to project timelines, and compliance with safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervisory & Project Management:

• Oversee and coordinate the work of carpentry teams in kitchen and wardrobe projects.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are met efficiently.
• Review blueprints, technical drawings, and client specifications to plan work schedules.
• Ensure quality control in material selection, cutting, assembly, and installation.
• Conduct site inspections to resolve issues and maintain project quality.
• Work closely with designers, project managers, and clients to meet expectations.

Technical & Installation Work:

• Supervise and participate in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of kitchen cabinets and wardrobes.
• Ensure precise measurement and cutting of materials such as wood, MDF, laminates, and veneers.
• Oversee the installation of hinges, handles, sliding mechanisms, and other hardware.
• Inspect and approve completed work to ensure high standards of craftsmanship.

Team Leadership & Training:

• Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to carpenters and apprentices.
• Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Train staff on new techniques, tools, and materials in kitchen and wardrobe carpentry.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Carpentry Supervisor, preferably in kitchen and wardrobe installations.
• Strong expertise in carpentry techniques, joinery, and cabinet-making.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and measurements accurately.
• Experience in leading teams, assigning tasks, and managing project timelines.
• Proficiency in using woodworking tools, power tools, and precision instruments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in carpentry.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in carpentry is a plus.
• Valid drivers license .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in modular kitchen and wardrobe design & installation.
• Familiarity with CAD software or design tools for custom woodwork.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
