Head Barista

To lead and manage the barista team in delivering top-tier specialty coffee and service standards. The Head Barista will oversee all aspects of beverage preparation, bar operations, training, and customer engagement to ensure a premium coffee experience aligned with the brands values.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Coffee Excellence

• Prepare all coffee beverages in accordance with specialty coffee standards.
• Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of each cup.
• Monitor espresso extraction, milk texturing, and brewing methods (e.g., pour-over, AeroPress, Chemex).
• Calibrate and maintain all coffee equipment daily (grinders, espresso machines, brewing tools).

Team Leadership & Training

• Train and mentor new and existing baristas on recipes, techniques, and customer service.
• Conduct skill assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Lead daily pre-shift briefings to align the team on goals and updates.

Customer Experience

• Engage with customers to share knowledge about coffee origins, flavor profiles, and brewing methods.
• Handle customer concerns with professionalism and a problem-solving approach.
• Promote upselling and menu education.

Inventory & Maintenance

• Monitor bar stock levels and coordinate with procurement for orders.
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of beans and supplies.
• Oversee cleanliness and hygiene of the bar and café area, in line with food safety standards.

Operational Support

• Assist in scheduling barista shifts and ensuring sufficient coverage.
• Monitor and report sales performance and beverage cost control.
• Work closely with the Café Manager to implement promotions and seasonal offerings.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR4,500.00 - QAR5,500.00 per month
