Interior Drafter

We are seeking a skilled Interior Drafter to support our design team by developing detailed drawings and documentation for interior design projects. The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in drafting software (AutoCAD, 3D Max, etc.) and a solid understanding of interior space planning, furniture layouts, and material specifications. This role is essential in turning design concepts into precise technical plans that guide project execution.

Key Responsibilities:Drafting & Design Support

• Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and layout drawings using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Support the design team in developing 2D and 3D visualizations for interior design projects.
• Translate conceptual designs into technical drawings and documentation for project implementation.
• Assist in space planning, furniture placement, and interior detailing as per design intent.
• Prepare accurate shop drawings for custom furniture, joinery, and interior elements.
• Modify and revise existing plans based on feedback from designers and project managers.

Documentation & Coordination

• Generate and maintain a complete set of drawings and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure designs align with available products and materials.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, client requirements, and quality standards.
• Assist in preparing material take-offs and quantities for procurement and costing purposes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Max, V-Ray, Photoshop, and other relevant design/drafting tools.
• Strong understanding of architectural and interior detailing.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design plans.
• Knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, and interior construction methods.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a design team.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in interior drafting or related field.

Desirable Skills:

• Ability to calculate curtains, wallpapers, and basic interior material quantities.
• Familiarity with furniture production and joinery detailing.
• Experience in working in a showroom or interior design firm is a plus.
