Material controllers

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for the safe and efficient handling of materials received, stored short term and long term.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Move merchandise by hand, hand truck, or forklift equipment to maintain continuous flow of merchandise.

• May be responsible for the unloading and stocking of incoming merchandise, picking of outgoing merchandise and loading of outbound truck or trailers.

• Checks, verifies and audits items and enters data into the system to ensure that item has been received and that it is not damaged or defective.

• Identifies, separates, labels, and palletizes items on pallets to enable relocation into appropriate area.

• May operate a forklift to move and put away merchandise.

• Reports damages and/or vendor compliance issues.

• Resolve problems or discrepancies with help from immediate WH Supervisor.

• Ensure safety techniques are used in all aspects of daily work responsibilities.

• Perform monthly compliance reports.

• Perform visual inspections of safety equipment and machinery.

• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse facility.

• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR2,800.00 - QAR3,000.00 per month

Experience:

• material controllers: 3 years (Required)
• warehousing: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• qatar forklift lic (Required)
