Mechanical Draftsman

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Draftsman to support the engineering team in preparing detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings for Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear components, including sheet metal enclosures and structural parts.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare precise 2D and 3D CAD drawings for MV switchgear components and assemblies.
• Develop detailed mechanical drawings for sheet metal enclosures, frames, and mechanical parts.
• Work closely with design engineers to convert concepts into manufacturable drawings.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards and company specifications.
• Revise and update existing drawings based on engineering changes or feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman in MV switchgear or related fields.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar 3D CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal design, manufacturing processes, and tolerancing.
