Procurement Officer (Qatar)

We offer various innovative products, ranging from interactive kiosks to VR experiences. We are looking for a dynamic and highly organized Procurement Officer to join our team in Qatar.

Job Purpose:As a Procurement Officer at Futad, you will play a key role in managing the sourcing and acquisition of materials, equipment, and services that support our cutting-edge multimedia products and experiences. You will be responsible for ensuring timely procurement, maintaining cost efficiency, and building strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. Collaborating with internal teams, you will help streamline procurement processes, maintain accurate records

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to procure high-quality materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring reliability, quality, and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with internal teams (design, development, production) to understand procurement needs and technical specifications.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement documents in accordance with company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely restocking and avoid shortages.
• Track orders and shipments, resolve delivery issues, and ensure supplier compliance with terms and specifications.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and databases for audits and future reference.
• Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and potential risks in the supply chain.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to procurement and supplier costs.
• Ensure all procurement activities align with Futads standards for quality, innovation, and sustainability.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within a tech or multimedia environment.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional vendor relationships.
• Solid understanding of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and vendor management.
• Experience in handling procurement for technical equipment, electronics, or multimedia components is a plus.
• Proficiency in using procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to proactively address supply chain challenges.
• Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations and best practices.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
