Authority: Managers/Supervisors have the authority to stop work when health and safety is unsafe or being compromised.
Minimum Qualification/Experiences/Skills Education & Professional Qualification:- Bachelors in Project Management, Engineering or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in the marine, shipbuilding, or offshore industry.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to offshore support vessels.
- PMP© or similar project management certification.
- Background in financial and cost control related to shipbuilding or offshore engineering projects would be an advantage.
Geographic Experience:
- GCC/Middle East preferred; multi-national environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent).
- Experience with digital tools and automation for project reporting and tracking.
- Knowledge of Power BI will be an advantage
- Business & Technical fluent English
- Arabic language will be an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial and project data.
- Proficiency in project tracking, budget management, and cost control methodologies.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work in a team-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Project Control & Budget Management:- Support the Project Manager in developing and maintaining project tracking systems, dashboards, and reports.
- Assist in monitoring project expenditures, ensuring adherence to approved budgets.
- Track project risks, cost deviations, and schedule variances, providing timely updates for corrective actions.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of project KPIs, financials, and schedules.
- Prepare data-driven insights and reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with global project teams to support tracking and control of vessel construction, conversion, and maintenance projects.
- Assist in optimizing project timelines and costs through data analysis and project tracking.
- Work closely with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to maintain project alignment.
- Support the implementation of project governance frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Ensure project compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Maintain structured documentation to support audit requirements and compliance needs.
- Act as a key support in communication between project teams, executive management, clients, and regulatory bodies.
- Assist in organizing project review meetings, ensuring follow-up on action items and structured project updates.
- Work with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless coordination across different project locations.
- Perform other duties and assignments as directed.
