Room Sales Manager
1. Achieve and exceed budgeted sales and profit targets for group business within assigned market segments.
2. Develop, recommend, and implement sales programs tailored to client needs.
3. Assist in setting annual sales goals and preparing monthly booking reports.
4. Utilize “Winning Edge” sales techniques to secure new business and maintain existing client relationship
5. Conduct timely solicitation and confirmation of group bookings through outside sales calls and on-site client visits.
6. Coordinate group bookings and communicate guest requests effectively across departments.
7. Monitor daily group occupancy in collaboration with Front Office to ensure maximum room utilization.
8. Foster repeat business and referrals by maintaining strong relationships with in-house guests.
9. Keep the sales team informed about group booking status and special guest requirements (VIPs).
Requirements:
1. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in event sales or a related field.
2. Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
3. Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
4. Attributes: Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
5. Network: Established network within the events industry is highly desirable.
6. Possessing a valid Qatar driving license is an added advantage.
Basic salary QR.6500/- + Meal allowance QR.1000/- + Free Accommodation and Transport
