Job Title: Sushi ChefJob Criteria / Requirements:1. Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a sushi chef or in a Japanese kitchen.
  • Expertise in preparing various types of sushi including maki, nigiri, sashimi, and specialty rolls.
  • Knife skills and precision cutting for fish and vegetables.
  • Understanding of sushi rice preparation, seasoning, and storage.
  • Ability to manage raw fish inventory and uphold strict food safety standards.

2. Culinary Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine, ingredients, and traditional techniques.
  • Understanding of flavor profiles, presentation, and plating techniques.

3. Hygiene & Safety:

  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.

4. Creativity & Presentation:

  • Ability to develop new sushi rolls or seasonal items.
  • Emphasis on aesthetic presentation and consistency.

5. Work Ethic & Personality:

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Professional attitude, attention to detail, and customer-focused mindset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to QAR2,400.00 per month
