Technology SpecialistLocation: Qatar

The Technology Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring IT systems, providing support to end-users, and ensuring the smooth operation of hospital-specific technology platforms. This includes troubleshooting hardware/software issues, user support, and daily monitoring of critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and monitor computer networks and systems
  • Log and respond to technical queries from employees
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware or software faults
  • Perform safety checks on computer equipment
  • Set up user accounts and manage password issues
  • Analyze call logs for trends and recurring issues
  • Monitor systems such as HVMS, LIMS, and PACS
  • Evaluate and test new technologies
  • Generate reports and maintain procedural documentation

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate/postgraduate degree
  • 4-5 years of IT support experience, preferably in a hospital environment
  • Strong knowledge of networking, security, and IT systems
  • Experience with healthcare IT platforms is an advantage
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities
