Vet AssistantLocation: Qatar

The Vet Assistant will support veterinary staff in equine care, including handling horses, recognizing disease symptoms, administering treatments, performing basic lab procedures, and maintaining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle horses during examinations
  • Recognize and interpret clinical signs of disease
  • Administer injections, IV fluids, bandages, and dressings
  • Perform basic on-site lab procedures
  • Clean and maintain instruments and equipment
  • Communicate effectively with veterinary staff and grooms

Requirements:

  • 2 years experience in equine veterinary care
  • Basic computer skills for record keeping
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Accredited Veterinary Nursing course preferred (experience may substitute)
