chef accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Chief Accountant to manage the accounting operations of our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial reports, managing budgets, supervising junior accountants, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate closing of accounts.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial statements.
• Review and approve journal entries, invoices, and payment requests.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and internal financial policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit activities.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, and tax authorities as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or ACCA preferred).
• Minimum of 10+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, ERP).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Valid QID with NOC.
