Electric Vehicle Technician

Job Summary:

ABC Group Qatar is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electric Vehicle (EV) Technician to join its growing team. In this role, you will provide expert technical service and maintenance on electric vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. You will be a key member of our technical team, contributing to the advancement of EV technology and a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting on electric and hybrid vehicle systems, including high-voltage batteries, electric motors, and charging systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on EV components, adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines.
• Utilize specialized diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Replace and repair faulty EV components, including batteries, motors, inverters, and charging units.
• Perform software updates and calibrations on EV systems.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all repairs and maintenance work.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures related to high-voltage systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service and technical support.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest EV technology and advancements through continuous training and development.
• Assist in the installation and maintenance of EV charging infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or certification in automotive technology, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an EV Technician, preferably with a reputable automotive dealership or service center.
• Strong knowledge of electric and hybrid vehicle systems, including high-voltage batteries, electric motors, and charging systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment specific to EVs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
