A Snapshot of Your Day In this highly visible and dynamic role, you will lead Project& Offer Management team for our Grid Technologies (GT) Service regional business in Qatar. Together with your team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the GT Service strategy and action plan in the country and in the region while driving continuous improvements in operations. Additionally, you will foster collaboration with other regions and functions, actively contribute to growth strategy, and make GT Service a value creator for the Business Area by adding substantial value to customers. You will be an integral part of the regional GT Service Middle East Project and Offer Management team. This role requires strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills to successfully lead the project and offer management team in Qatar. - Develop and Implement Processes: Establish and maintain project management and offering processes for GT Service, ensuring consistent success.
- Skill Development: Cultivate and monitor the right skill sets in project and offer management, ensuring that team members always possess up-to-date skills.
- Align Portfolio Elements: Tailor value propositions to customer needs and market trends, collaborating proactively with GT Sales in the to achieve continued success.
- Foster a High-Performing Team: Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability within the GT Service team
- Build Strong Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to achieve targeted KPIs in offer management and project execution. Identify opportunities for growth and improvement in service delivery through collaboration with other Execution Units and Functions.
- Uphold Safety and Integrity: Actively support our Zero Harm program and adhere to our compliance culture, ensuring the highest standards of safety and business integrity.
- Collaborate Effectively: Ensure effective collaboration and coordination with the Field Service team in Qatar, focusing on a customer-driven service approach.
- Drive Project Operations: Own and drive GT Services project operations and strategies.
- Leverage AI: Utilize AI to improve work quality, enhance efficiency, and optimize time management.
- Quality & EHS commitment: A commitment to quality and safety, with experience in developing and leading QEHS initiatives that exceed industry standards.
- Continuous Improvement: A mindset focused on constant enhancement of processes, policies, and performance, grounded in thorough audit practices and a dedication to excellence.
- Educational Background: Bachelors degree in electrical engineering
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in the Grid Transmission and Distribution segment, including strong contract negotiation and client relationship management skills.
- Understanding of the market: A comprehensive familiarity with the customer base for Transmission and Distribution within Qatar market
- Leadership: At least 3-4 years of experience managing highly skilled, multicultural professionals in project execution, offer management, and/or field services.
- Negotiation Expertise: Advanced negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and to successfully navigate complex contractual landscapes.
- Personal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills that support building a network, developing people, fostering a positive culture and organization, combined with a proactive, innovative, and teamwork-oriented mindset.
- Commitment: Eagerness to consistently meet and exceed commitments and objectives while taking ownership of complex challenges.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; Arabic or other regional languages is a plus.
- Certifications: IPMA/PMP certification is preferable.
