Interior Fitouts Manager (with Carpentry experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interior Fit-Outs Manager with a strong background in carpentry to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing interior fit-out projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery, quality workmanship, and budget compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all aspects of interior fit-out projects, including planning, execution, and handover.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Review project specifications and drawings to ensure accurate execution on-site.
• Oversee site activities and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and timeline standards.
• Manage carpentry-related works and guide on joinery detailing and finishes.
• Prepare project schedules and monitor progress against timelines.
• Resolve on-site issues and provide technical solutions where necessary.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure that work complies with standards and client expectations.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field (preferred).
• 7 to 10 years of proven experience in interior fit-out project management, including carpentry/joinery works.
• Strong technical knowledge of materials, carpentry details, and interior finishing standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficient in project management tools and MS Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in commercial, residential, or hospitality fit-out projects.
• Familiarity with local building codes and standards.
• Strong network of vendors and subcontractors in the fit-out industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR8,000.00 - QAR12,000.00 per month
